Republican or Democrat, you should be able to see that government spending is out of control. Obama supporter or not, you should be able to look at the debt and deficit and realize we are in serious economic trouble. Do not let the Tea Party movement be morphed into a Democrat vs. Republican battle. The Tea Party movement should remain true to its namesake; taking a stand against reckless taxing and spending. Do not be fooled into taking sides. This Tea Party movement is not about Democrat vs. Republican, it is about citizens vs. politicians. It is about how our country has been overtaken by self serving bureaucrats. Their divide and conquer strategy has triumphed all these years over common sense. Distracted with minutia, we have left to them unimaginable power without oversight. It is time to focus on the major issues plaguing America. Time to focus on our debt and deficit. Time to focus on frivolous spend. Time to restore common sense to America. We must hold our elected officials accountable. We must insist on a balanced budget. We must insist on eliminating our national debt. Sound economic practices must be implemented and sustained so that we do not find ourselves again in this position. Do not be a house divided against itself. Do not fall.
